Caillou

Mitchell's favorite cartoon character is Caillou. He loves to watch it on the PBS channel, listen to the theme song on his CD player and he even named Levi's cabbage patch doll baby Caillou. It's so fun to hear him say the name "Caillou" and wrinkle his little nose because his eyes seem to disappear as he smiles.

I am laughing my head off right now because Mitchell just went in the fridge and brought me a cold beer, salsa verde, pasta, ketchup, juice and pickles. One by one he carried these over to me and told me the name of the item. Gotta love this stage in life as every word is so darn cute. The game continues as I ask him to put the items back. He claps his hands and says "yah" as he runs back to me for the next item.
Caillou helps young children realize they are not alone. All kids have LOTS of questions about everything, and Caillou helps two and three-year olds see where they're going - and five and six-year olds appreciate where they've been!

Caillou is Elise's favorite too. It's always a happy morning when Elise gets to spend a little time with Caillou.

Caillou is forbidden in my house. Mostly anything else on PBS, Nick Jr and Disney is fair game. I'm telling you Shawn...sit down and watch it!!!!!!
