Our Sunday Family...

We've been getting together with two other couples each week on Sunday night. Usually we share a meal, have a couple of sitters to watch the 7 kids while we adults do a little worship and fellowship. We decided today to host a fall outing. You'll notice all the children clutching at their pumpkins. Shawn hid the pumpkins all over the yard and each child had to find their own (name on the bottom). When they found their pumpkins, they each got a treat bag. Later we had a little bonfire that required some unconventional fuel sources to get it blazing. We roasted some marshmallows, and ate s'mores. Earline was so enthusiastic with the marshmallows that she took a few with her home. After week of physicial therapy for a slipped disk, Scott sipped a bottle of Sam Adams and exclaimed, "ah, what a Beautiful Life!" Twyla brought an apple pie, Shawna enjoyed a glass of wine, and Cory and Kurt tossed the football back and forth. Kennedy, Noah, and Deklan rolled down our hill. Gavin enjoyed climbing up the hill but wasn't so interested in walking down it. Mitchell and Hannah ran around trying to keep up with the bigger kids. Levi just scooted around at the bottom of the hill making grass stains on his keester. We've really enjoyed getting together with these two families each week.
