Fun with the BOYZ
The other night, the boys had some friends over, Deklan and Gavin. D&G have a new brother, Jensen, and my attempts to watch D&G last month were thwarted by illness. Shawn was out for the evening, so it was me and four boys. We had pizza for dinner and made chocolate chip cookies. Each boy got to toss in a portion of the butter, sugar, and chocolate chips. Then each boy got to make two of their own cookies. After dinner, D&G made card(s) for their Mommy and Daddy to accompany a plate of cookies. We closed the evening with Charlie Brown Christmas, fun night.
Below you can see the boys working on projects and watching TV. There are still times of tension, but Mitchell and Levi seem to be playing better together than ever.

You can take care of your kids AND watch two others AND make dinner AND bake cookies with the kids helping? I've got to show this to Mel.
Yet another vote for father of the year! I told Andrea that we need to somehow use our husband's competitive nature to see who can be the best dad...for our benefit (oh, and the kids of course). You know, like we show our husband swhat Kurt did with the kids, in hopes that Mel will tell Andrea to go out with her friends and he'll watch all of our kids..teach them how to make dinner, have them fold laundry, and clean all the floors, before we return. Then my Melvin can take the kids next time and try to outdo Mel. Sounds like a great plan to me..who's in?
