Girls just wanna have fun
Last night was a awesome celebration of friends. My friend Cari planned a very fun and eventful night for all of us ladies to paint the town pink! We started the night by eating at a restaurant called Saji-Ya on Grand Avenue. This was a Japanese place where they prepare your meal on a grill right in front of you with flames and all. After feasting we all headed down a few blocks for dessert at Cafe Latte. Then over to Axel's bonfire for the dualing pianos, but the wait was over an hour for a table, so the group of chatty girls opted to walk a little further down the block to the Wild Onion for some dancing.
I have so many stories to share about our night, but the biggest shocker was FunkyHammer on the dance floor. Wow, for such a quiet person - Sarah is quite the loud dancer! It was so much fun watching her trying to convince each of us to get out on the dance floor. Another highlight was when the song Macarena came on, I was blown away that we were pretty much the only ones on the dance floor that knew the moves.
As women we need to get out and shake our booty every once in awhile and it is always true that girls just wanna have fun. Some just had a lot more fun than others last night. I hope you got some sleep last night, Cari. Nothing says you had a good time more than arriving home at 3am! (P.S. I loved the hooker boots).
